About
A cooperative around a single source
Epochal Winds is a working cooperative visualizing the 5th Epochal Revelation — The Urantia Book — through teaching, multilingual music, narrative, and source-text reading.
What we make
The work is organized around cycles — narrative arcs that pair a teaching, the source paper it draws from, music written in response, and visuals built around the material. Some cycles are complete; many are partially built; some exist only as a teaching waiting for the rest. We surface the gaps rather than hide them.
How we organize
The architecture is structured around the work, not around the people who produced it. A teaching, an album, a paper, a fable — each is credited to its contributors at the artifact level, never used as a structural category. When you see a byline, that's where the person lives in the system; the cycle, the topic, the wiki entry stands on its own.
Why a cooperative
The source material is enormous. No one contributor will exhaust it; no single voice should try. The cooperative exists so that teachers, musicians, illustrators, translators, and editors can contribute to a shared body of work without having to maintain their own apparatus around it.
A note on authority
Everything published here is a secondary work — human-authored teaching, music, fiction, and commentary oriented toward the truths of The Urantia Book. None of it is divine or inspired revelation, and none of it should be accepted as such. Binding authority rests with the source text, not with anything we make.
Get involved
If you have a teaching, a song, a translation, an illustration, or a paper-aligned project that belongs in the pool, write to [email protected]. The Outstanding work board (visible to signed-in contributors) shows what's funded and what's open.
